Starlight
Between curiosity and contemplation, an evening to understand the polar auroras, to discover the sensitive approach of artistic photography and to approach the reserves of starry sky.
This meeting will question our place in the Universe; the meaning we give to scientific research as well as to the sensitive representation of space, its lights and its stars.
Come and have a chat over a drink and some games with Frédéric Pitout, astrophysicist and Philippe Guionie, director of the Residence 1+2.
Science, wonder and a celestial atmosphere await you!
With :
Frédéric Pitout, teacher-researcher in astrophysics at the University of Toulouse III – Paul Sabatier, member of the Astrophysics Research Institute / Midi-Pyrénées Observatory – IRAP (OMP – UT3 Paul Sabatier / CNRS / CNES)
Philippe Guionie, director of the 1+2 residency, a festival of creative residencies associating photography and science, based in Toulouse and Occitania, with a European vocation.
