Restitution of Jef Bonifacino’s residency at the Cité de l’espace. During NASA’s Apollo missions, crew members took cameras with them to immortalize these historic lunar missions. Jef Bonifacino shows lunar exploration through a subjective re-reading of these Hasselblad photographs, offering a new narrative without chronological reference points.
"The original purpose of these silver photographs taken by astronauts was primarily scientific and political. It's time to bring them to express their photographic and artistic potential, in order to renew our representations of lunar exploration."
