A past resident in 2022, Alice Pallot looks back in detail at ‘Algues maudites, a sea of tears’, a series on green algae initiated at the 1+2 Residence, which she continues to enrich.

As part of the Encounters of Young International Photography 2024 at the Villa Pérochon in Niort, she produced unusual images obtained by immersing her prints in a culture of toxic algae. A committed artistic approach that documents living things and warns of environmental degradation.
