From 4 to 13 June 2024, Arianna Sanesi will be in residence at the Cité de l’Espace for a project on the theme of ‘Space(s) and sport, the body put to the test’.

The artist’s aim is to get circus artists to interact with the various spaces in the Cité, focusing on movement and the trace left both on the athletes’ bodies and on the surrounding objects.

Arianna Sanesi is an Italian photographer based in Paris. After gaining a Master’s degree in the History of Photography at the University of Bologna, she studied at the CFP Bauer in Milan and the DMJX in Aarhus, Denmark. Passionate about stories, she focuses her work on subjects that are often invisible and builds a narrative that evokes them using images, traces and words.

The exhibition will open in July 2024 at Cité de l’espace in Toulouse.
